Just a quick post, as I really shouls have been in bed a looong time ago. Working early tomorrow…
All the tanks are doing wonderfully and fish are growing well. The JD’s are slow growing, but the PP’s are “monsters”. They’ve been out of danger for some time now, as they’re much to big to be prey. Hoping the JD’s will kick in shortly 
On a whole other note: I’ve never really been much of a gamer, but recent events have got me to endeavor into this world. I’ve never had a computer that was built for games, but during the last year or so I’ve had the urge to build one. Last week I finally did it, and this time I put the effort into making it reliable for games.
Specs and all that sort of thing might just come, if I find the time.
Well, now I’m off to bed getting far to little sleep but hey… That’s one thing I’m used to!!!
Three weeks have come and passed

Today it’s three weeks since I first saw the fry from my Dempsey tank. I took them from their parents after a few days, and it seems to have saved quite a few. I expected there to be quite a few that wouldn’t make it, and so it was.
Third day

Well, it’s now three days since I found the youngsters, and today I made a “bold” move.. I decided not to risk having mom and dad cannibalise the herd. From what I’ve read, they should be fine for about a week, but to me it looked like there were a bit fewer today from yesterday.

Offspring
I’ve had a male Rocio Octofasciatum for some time, and he’s been alone about a year or so as his mate passed away. I’ve been somewhat reluctant to find a new female as they do make a mating pair, but I found an ad on a forum for JD’s and decided to give it a go.
Picked her up about a week ago, and let her into her new home hoping for the best. They’ve seemed to like eachother, but I haven’t seen any courting bahviour to speak of.
. Not the best time of year to say the least. Have lost a bit of oomph to go ahead and make/test more of the pyro effects because of the snow. BUT…
