Travel case

Hey folks, how are ya’ll doing? Just thought I’d let you know about the latest article I’m writing on Defiance.no. I used the weekend to make a travel/carry case for my e-cigarette and some apparel. Again, no video but I’m making more of these so there will be video then.

This was a proof of concept, built from 5/32 plywood, 23 gauge headless pins and Titebond wood glue. Like I write in the article, this was my first time using Titebond and what a product! I’m used to generic white wood glue here in Norway, but that’s got nothing on yellow glue. I bought a 16 oz bottle as a test, and to give you an example of prices here: I found the same bottle at Home Depot for ~$5. My price over here: ~$18 If I were to buy the full gallon jug: ~$75!!! I’m still going to buy the gallon though, but at what prize.

Now, video… I’m still making these things at home, where it’s small and not very well lit. I’m setting up two halogen lights on a stand, which I hope will be good for video purposes. I used to make regular videos on the channel NordicSurvivalist, my second channel. However, due to several personal issues, I didn’t make a video for a very long time. You can have a look at my primary channel and see what I have been able to produce and make.

Here’s a small picture of the latest project. Head on over to Defiance.no to have a look at the article there.

Thanks for stopping by, and check back soon for a new video. Can’t wait to get started!
