Saturday, I mangaged to get around to buying a new charger and some new batteries. It’s not one of those quickchargers, so a complete recharge takes about 7-8 hours.
I only have some standard optics in my gear:
- Canon EF50mm
- Canon EFS60mm Macro
- Canon EFS18-55
- Canon EF70-300 IS USM
Spent most of Sunday morning shooting, using the 50mm. I actually got some surprisingly good (that’s how it looked in the camera) shots. I’ve misplaced my reader, thus I haven’t yet transfered the images to my computer for postprocessing.
The preferred subject this morning was my sweetharts cat. She’s such a lovely subject and amazingly dozile. Allows me to photograph her and I can “direct” her in some ways to get what I’d lke.
As soon as I get them transfered to my computer and processed in Photoshop, I’ll be sure to post them here if I’m still pleased with the results. (Note! I shot with ISO1600 on my EAS 400D, which is the maximum ISO setting). I’m hoping the noise is OK, but I really have no idea. I haven’t shot using 1600 earlier, so this is again a new experience.
