Quickie post

No time to post a long one today.
I’ve just reinstalled my computer after a total crash, but luckily I’ve managed to recover the items not in my latest backup.
Shot this using my EOS 400D, the 18-55mm kit-lens @ 55mm and a set of extension tubes. I’ve got no info on them right here because of the crash, but I’ll post a “review” tomorrow. This really is an ultra-cheap way of getting into macro. The tube(s) are unoriginal, and no AF or setting of Aperture.
I find it’s lacking a bit DoF and it is grainy, but that was a compromise because of high iso in poor light. I was really pleased however with this image, and had I known I would have spent more time on lighting to minimize noise.
Not much PP on this. Just adjusted using Curves, and a minimal adjustment of the red Hue. The “dots” are in fact on the eye, and not on/in the image.
